After getting the truck back from the dealer 2 days ago I was riding around the farm today and I wanted to drive down a road that had about a 50ft. section that was irrigated so I switched it to 4x4. Normally it kicks in and I dont pay attention but this time it didnt and I almost got stuck. I couldnt get it the 4x4 to engage for anything. I'm pretty pissed off since the dealer had the truck for a week and a half to put a drive clutch in it then I had to take it back today to get a new console lid put on now the 4x4 wont work

 

Be careful professor, if it were to engage while spinning something would have clanked and sent teeth flying. I'm in the same boat...with no warranty. Let me know what they find out, please go into detail so I have something else to look for, and ask if there is a 4x4 solenoid bolted to the transfer case other than the 4x4 HUB solenoid (in the engine compartment).
