Question Anyone with aftermarket heated seats?

As the title says, has anyone added aftermarket heating elements to their seats?

What brand?

Cost?

Self install or shop?

Any negatives?

Any input would be great. Looking into this for a pre-winter comfort mod.

Mine are "Check Corporation" 2 level
Shop installed for $250 / seat with 3 yr/36k warranty. Did this when I was putting in the oem leather, so they basically pulled the cloth off the fronts and just put the leather back on for no extra charge.

Only negative I can think of is that they don't come with me when I get out of the truck.

Not sure what you consider quick, but in about a minute I can start to feel it. When its really cold I warm up the truck for a couple minutes anyway, so when I get in the seats are warm.

Theres alot of cooling elements but they require a processor or somthing like that and that makes alot of heat so thats a win lose situation x_x
