got bit by the neon bug again

flame me all you want but I just ordered a neoblue stretglow gold series kit. I had blue neon on my red minivan back in like 03 and I havnt put it on the two cars between the van and the truck. I know its rice but I always liked the look of blue under a red vehicle.

Blue on a red vehicle? Interesting.. Post pics.

I had neons on a car when I was in high school. Green car with white neons. Liked the way it looked, looked like it was floating on a cload.

Be prepared for flames, however.

While I think it's a little 2 fast 2 furious esque for me, why would you flame him for using them on the street? People use chrome clad on the street and that crap blinds the hell out of me.

Styx - put a neon ring around your sub! J/K Do what you want...who cares right? It's your truck!

I don't like neon on the outside, but I do like a couple small neons (blue) behind the dash and under the seats.

I guess I should have been a little clearer. Should have read something like. "No flaming from me. Just don't run them on the street if it's illegal in your state"

I used to run neons like that on my van.... but now the most I would light up the interior is Led's in the a/c vents

sorry to be a a$$ but blue and red neons are illegal in 49 states as they are the colors of emergency vbehicle sirens and lights. Every other color however is legal as i used to have yellow and never got bothered but my friend who had blue on his silver camaro got 4 tickets and fianlly had to take them off, just be careful around the cops when u have them on but it will look good

Uh....not so sure about neons being that illegal. Styxnpicks just check your local laws. Here it doesn't matter what you have under the vehicle. Its only officially illegal to have red/blue on the front or rear. Another thing to consider, a law is only as upheld as the cops upholding it....I love our local guys, they couldn't care less what you do as long as its not driving like a maniac or drinking/drugs.

I've had blue before here in ohio and only got hassled about it once in a dance club parking lot from one of those hard guy cops. he took a half hour to write the damn ticket. but the main thing was the red led turn sigs/parking lamps ont the front. if I do end up putting them on this will be the only neon on the truck. none inside no license plate ****. just the underbodys.
