Toolbox Question

If you can answer this or shed some light to me I would greatly appreciate it. I have a '05 Scab. This weekend I'm receiving a toolbox. The box came off my dads old 99 F250. I was wondering will the toolbox fit on my truck?I know the F150 are currently larger then the ones back in 99.

i took the tool box off my 99 250 and put it on my 06 scab 150.
on the 99 i had 1/2" gap each side between the rail and box, on the 150 i have around and 1/8". I am sure this varies by toolbox but it shows the 150 rails are narrower than the 250

As long as they don't stick out to far on the sides I'll be ok. I'm just wondering how black will look against my chrome bumpers and polished wheels.

the rails got wider toward the inside of the box, the outside edgeof the rails staid the same

I have a few pics of mine in my gallery.
If you like the fit of it, the model number is in my signature.

Sterusmall that box is supposed to fit a F250? Is that what you're saying? I'm confident the box will fit.

Sorry Silver,

I thought you were wanting to know what box would fit your 150, not if the 250 box would fit the newer 150's.

I should have read your original post more closely.

The box from the 250 should work. I was told that a box for a 250 is what we need to go all the way to the edge of our rails (72" box).
