How much would a trade in soak me?

I've got an 05 Lariat, 5.5 supercab, loaded 2wd, no sunroof. Payoff is $26K, it has 22K miles. I thinking of trading for a Screw, Lariat, same setup. What do you think my tradein value would be? I'm guessing about $21K max. There are some pretty good deals on 06's, I'm considering an xlt to save a few dollars but I'll probably stick with the Lariat.
Thanks,

kbb.com is usually fairly accurate assuming that you input all of the correct information.

Depends on your definition of "soaked". Upside down - you bet. Down $10K? No. The important factor is how much neg equity you can recoup with rebates, etc. That, and just how negative you can afford to be.

I went from a 2004 xlt to a 2006 Lariat 4x4 supercab. I was pretty much 10k upside down. Somehow, with the X Plan, rebates and 0 percent financing, my payments are lower. It worked out for me. 0 percent is going to help me a lot.

Thanks,
I only got $21,050.00 for my 2005 Lariat Crew Cab 2wd that was also loaded except no sunroof. I dont think you'll get $21k for a short-bed S'cab. Maybe $18-$19k. Good luck on that though...

Cool

Well, according to that moron Mountaineer I shouldn't get even 5k for this truck yet a Titan dealership offered 25k trade-in on this 65,000 mile F-150. I guess trade-in is some kind of foolish markup to con those salesmen back for depreciation...20k of it

Chris, how many miles did your Lariat have?
