I believe the vents under the seats are nothing more than a cold air return. I could be wrong, but I think that is where the air is drawn from when you have your system set on recirculate. It makes sense, draw the air from the middle of the cab for optimal air movement.

Nope, it is rear floor air. If you have the front on floor, it will also blow in the floor here. Cold or hot. The recirc inlet is under the passenger side footwell/dash

Just wearing a foil hat would have sufficed. No need to line the whole truck.

i have been wanting to modify those rear vents to be cooled and heated seats, black leather isnt the most comfortable material in 110+* weather

Its a knockoff brand on ebay. kinda like fatmat. only his stuff is 50mils thick and butyl based like dynamat. and after doing the floor I can say that its much easier to work with than crapmat. the roof is going to need 3 layers due to the amount fo flex fron not having a b-pillar. my 2 10's made it flex about an inch peak to peak in the middle. the floor only needs about one layer but I overlapped in spots so it has anywhere from 1-3 in spots. I was happy to see ford sprayed a thick deadener on the floor where your feet would go. but I'm gonna need a little more that stock. a couple other notes:
I found I bolt under the carpet that I did not remove.... ford QC at its best. and I also loaded 5 cans of great stuff in the c-pillars and rear wall to stiffen the flex..... the floors resonant frequency is about 30hz now.

What size bolts do they use on the interior (if you have the sockets at hand) or are there too many to list. Any parts that were rather tricky (i.e. back seats)? Doin a great job, I would like to replace my carpet as well as install the body lift, only looks like 4 cab bolts to me.

mostly 6,8, and 10 mm. the a-pillars are 7mm. I forget what size the torx pit is on the seats. there are 6 cab bolts

Hey Styx - It's about time you get off your lazy butt! I just got my other 9.0 today and my new PowerLines should be here in a day or 2, so I will be at it again this weekend. Still not sure if I want to tackle the headliner though. lol
