Steering Wheel Mounted Controls ?

i have them and noticed that the button for changing song/station only goes up. as in....you push it one way and it goes to the next song or next highest station....but it doesnt go to the previous song or next lowest station. if you push it in the direction that would go to previous it switches to either CD or FM/AM depending on which you were on......why this stupid design?

I like it that way. I have two FM stations I listen to and one AM, so it's like cycling through presets.

i dont like it because its just basically stupid....your sitting there driving....wanna change the song on your cd....and then u go one too far so you hit 'where the back button should be' and it switches to FM then you have to reach over switch it back and then hit the back button.....

i know it isnt a hgue deal but its kinda frsutrating being use to it, and especially when your driving on highway at 80 mph and your not alone on the road ha

I agree. When I installed my Eclipse AVN6600 and used the PAC SWI-ECL to keep the steering wheel controls, this is the only button I programmed differently than OEM on the PAC so I can go forward to a track as well as back track (no pun intended).
