Went to Close dealership

So during lunch today I went to my local dealship, Simi, and was looking for 06 F150's FX4. I wanted to see either a dark shadow grey or white fx4 but alas they only had 1 fx4 and it was a black supercrew @ a whopping 41K+ fully loaded.

They salesmen was nice but didnt know what the deals that were going on, he didnt even mention the ford gas card promo.

I asked about adding in a fabtech lift/tires/rims/nav but he had no idea what the price would be, that he would have to first finalize the price for the truck then get a quote on the extras.

Oh well, tomorrow I will go to galpin ( largest ford dealership in usa/world ) and they should have some customs already done and know more about whats going on with them.

I went to a Nissan dealership and test drove another loaded CC LE Titan. I hit it off real good with one of the salesmen (a few years older than myself) and he's going to help me get a job there if needed, woot. They wanted to give me 25k for it (part of it was a rebate on the vehicle), no thanks. But the job I'll take

Would be sick to see you in a lifted F-150 Joe, then you have to make it to Pismo. Are you possibly going to have it before the Pismo meet? I know there are some places that allow you to have their vehicles overnight, you should try that plan and take it up

Josiah - Take out the 350z's and have some fun with those. How was the interior of the truck, only pictures I saw it was very plasticy and dull. Was that 25k with their nav too, 4x4? New job is always nice, make some new connections for sure!

Def will go try and head up after the wedding if I get the new truck. Hopefully I will have it. Ill see what Chris can mingle up and what galpin has on their lots ( much rather give chris the bus though ).

Chris - pm sent

I should have test drove a 350z, the guy who drove with me lost control and almost hit some trees going about a buck40 in one of them. Crazy bastard.

The interior is just as you said, plastic-like. I do wish we had the passenger/driver separated heat/ac controls. I am warm blooded and can't stand the cold, everyone who rides with me hates it, the Titan had those controls. I am still in love with their damn rear windows. The truck drove so smooth compared to mine, for obvious reasons but I still don't remember my truck riding so smooth stock.

I was wide open often and the truck was very close to mine stock. They are both 4x4's. Our 5.4's don't respond great to the exhaust/intake combo if you ask me and I know the 5.6's are the exact opposite. Either way they benefit from the 2 more than us. The Titan pulled in 2nd and 3rd a little harder than mine did, but even as I sit right now I'm sure I could take a barebone stock one from a roll (I don't do so well off the line).

haha.

Oh, and the 25k was for my truck. They were going to give me an extra 3k on rebates because of the mods their program won't take into account (i.e. coilovers, bedrug/lighting, shifter, many engine mods, etc). So 25k is the total with the extra 3k on rebates or whatever. I broke down the list the other day for someone interested and I spent well over 9,000 on mods. I should copy and paste that into my listing, all prices were great deals and shopped around for except Troyer mods. Those are an arm and a leg no matter which way you put it.

Well that depends, can I still come to Pismo w/the group :P

I don't think I'm going to stay in the 1/2 ton scene for long, but who knows. I don't care for the 25k offer anyway, so unless I sell it on the street I won't be going back for anything but a job. Is it ok with you if I keep test driving other vehicles Mike.
