Need opinions on the VIBRATION issue

I had on 04 that was bought back by Ford since they couldn't fix the vibration. They put 3 new drive shafts, new rear end assembly and balanced the tires several times.

I bought an 05 and now my nightmare has started again. Vibration @ 45-60 MPH (and sometimes 75MPH). This is not a "slight" vibration and it has gotten worse over time.

@5,000 miles they replaced a tire b/c they said it wouldn't balance...this was good for about 1,000 miles...it got progressively worse.

@10,000 miles they replaced the driveshaft. I don't think they drove the vehicle b/c the vibe is worse than before.

Now my question to you guys is...

1. What should I do?

2. Does anybody out there have/had the same problem and get it fixed? If so, what did they do to fix it?

I hate having to take it to the dealership and getting a rental...this is a waste of my time.

Is your vibe a steering shimmy or a vibe that is felt in the cab? To permanately get rid of the steering shimmy I had to buy some Nitto's. The dealer actually got Ford to pay me $900.00 since I bought the Nitto's and it cured it.

(Fingers crossed) Yes.

Entire '06 drivetrain swap from the transfer case back.

Seems like most of mine was coming from the transfer case and transmission. They had my truck hooked up to vibration monitors for the better part of a month.

I've put about 3k miles on it since it came out of the shop and so far, so good.
