I was just wondering if Edge has any new updates out for our trucks right now. I did a update when i first got it on April 1st. But thats the only one i have done. I want to run on level 3 but i hear a lot of problems from this update.

I run on level 3 and only have one problem. My foot has gained weight!

No other problems.

 

The edge has some updates has anyone tried them?

 

Looked at what all was updated and it looked like they didn't touch the calibration files. Looks like it was just updates to the Lightning software itself.

 

do yall think there would be any problem of buying a used edge?

 

You may not be able to get tech support on it and you definitely would not have a warranty. Other that that, you should be fine.

It did. But thats considered a firmware update. I was refering to a calibration update. Guess I wasn't too clear on what I meant. Calibration would be more of a performance fix. Like that stupid 4th gear shudder I experience on level 3.

 

I cant get any downloads it says knot hooksd up but it is ??????

 

i would uninstall the lightning software and download the new version from edge's site.

THANKS FX4-GUY I think it`l work ,the softwhare drivers knot the same at all . When I get the chance too pull the EDGE out of the truck Ill hook it up and see what happens .For wright know when I applied for updates ---Comunications Timed Out on Com O.Pleas Check Port Settings and retry ---Pops up .

 

I don't know what you guys are talking about. There is no update past 4/5/06 to Lightning, or anything else.
