Personally responsible for

Ending the drought here in southern Mississippi. We hadn't had rain here in forever and my lawn was starting to die. The gulf coast was seeing it's worst drought in decades and my truck was seeing it's longest span between washings. I get up early yesterday morning and decide to wash her and clean'er up and shine up that brand new bull bar she just had put on. So 4 hours later I stand back and admire my hard work and fall in love all over again with my shiny black truck.

The family decides they want to take a trip so we all hop in my freshly cleaned truck and head off in search of adventure. The sky is beautiful and the highway is wide open, then what is that I see off in the distance. Cars are coming at me with headlights on and the clouds have all gathered against me. I think about turning my truck around when suddenly what should appear on my windheild, but tiny little raindrops. Of course the family will hear nothing about tucking tail and returning home, they all scream keep going.

Then it happens, the sky just dumps everything right on my truck and it is soaked. Of course the worst part is driving on the highway and picking up all the road mist from everyone. When we got home that night my truck is covered in highway grit so I spend the next hour getting her cleaned back up and once again all is well with the world.

I wake up this morning to a downpour and again wasted effort. Oh well at least I can claim responsibility for ending the drought in southern Mississippi.

Well I am glad you caused the rain because we really did need it. Where in southern Mississippi are you.
