My dad has the recon LED brake light. Im pretty sure its a plug and play thing. We payed a shop to install it but I was sure it was a plug and play sorta thing. The cargo lights blow because there LED but the brake lights are bright I do beleive.

You payed a shop to install your 3rd brake light?!?!? Wow. You should get the Tucan light which has the LED brake light but keeps the stock halogen cargo lights . All you have to do to remove it is take out the two screws, take the lights out of the old one and put them in the new one, and plug the led pwer lead into the plug that the brake light plugged into. Here is a picture of mine...
