Brand new Hi all and a Newbie Question...

first of all hi all. I'm brand new and have been layin in the weeds doing reading now for about 2 weeks trying to educate myself. I bought a new f150 fx4 05. I've never owned a truck in my life and would like to do some mods. I'm on a budget and don't want to be cheap but cost is a big factor. I want to do a skyjacker 3in lift and was wondering if I could do a 2in or so body lift in addition to that kit. I really want to throw on 35's and get as much lift as my budget will afford without seeing an enourmous body gap.

Thanks guys!!!

Welcome aboard!

Im going to give you a straight forward answer on your question. The Skyjacker 3" kit is what? $500 The body lift which is $280. Are you planning on installing the kit? If so you might save a FEW dollars. But, I've seen the standard Procomp 6" kit for around $1100 which would be A LOT better option for what you want and it wouldn't be putting the stress on your tie-rods, CV axles, and other front suspension parts that the Skyjacker 3" kit will create. However, its your money and this is just my suggestion.

I think you should be able to fit those 35" tires under just a 3" skyjacker

I can't really say. I don't know if my old truck was just a complete piece of junk or it the lift too. I'll tell you how the Fabtech is though!
