Question for F150 Lariat owners from Cali?

I'm going to buy a truck in about two weeks and I've decided to go with an f-150, more specifically, the 4 dr Lariat 4x2. Anyways, I did pricing on Edmunds with the options I want(Just the 6 cd and chrome package) and I ended up getting a price of just under 27,000 with the discounts already added.

My question is, how much did you pay for yours? 30,000 is right around as far I would pay so it really isn't a problem, but I'm curious to know how much others ended up paying for theirs.

Sorry, I'm new to the site and I didn't see the other forum near the bottom discussing prices. But it's kind of inactive so i'm hoping I can get some more responses here.

Well, that happens to be the exact truck I got. My truck has a sticker of $36,200~...it was a 2005 Lariat Screw 2wd, and I got it OTD with CA tax etc for $30,500. So basically, yeah around $27,000 plus tax and licence etc.

That sounds like a good price to me!

12k under the sticker price?

Was this negotiating done in the office or out in the lot?

very similar to my purchase. I have a fully loaded 2004 fx4 supercab except power pedals and got it for a little under 30K

That's the exact price we got on my dad's 2004 4x4 lariat as well. I did the negotiating over the phone on that one...

Sadly, my dad got a better deal than me

Question..

Is the leather optional for the Lariat?

27 for almost no options seems like a good price to me. So i'm going to try to get that price OTD and hopefully go lower. I have some salesman skills so I might be able to get what I want.
