Thumbs down put on black fx4 decals

Turned out pretty bad, I don't even wan to post a picture! First off, one of them is maybe a 1/16" off and I can see it from across the street, second I have air bubbles.... hate freakin bubbles. And I couldn't get them all out, even when I got one you can still see where it was. Up close they look like sh*t, and from a distance they look like they have little water drops on them. So.... then I decided I didn't like the 'offroad' and pulled that back off. Ready to pull it all off and throw 20$ bucks in the trash! Any ideas????

Buy some new ones and have a professional or sign shop install them.

Did you use soap/water? I had a few air bubbles in mine even using soap/water and a tool for putting on decals to get the air bubbles out. But, you couldn't see them unless you were about 10" away from it.

Add it to your gallery, right click and hit properties, and copy the URL and add it your post using the

I still need to find something to replace my '4x4' stickers that not FX4. .

But, let them sit out in the sun for a day or two and see what happens. Its possible for the air bubbles to evaporate.

The Decal does look nice, but the air bubbles do look bad as you already know. I don't know what I do different, but anytime I put on decals, I use a hair dryer, and a credit card to smooth out the air bubbles. Seems to work for me

I dont like the actual decal design.

you should try to smooth them out with a hard plastic squeege thats made for installing decals. When you do it, take a small pin and pop all the air bubbles and then smooth them out. It might just do the trick.

Good luck

Do what Brew said and you should be fine. When I installed the Roush rocker stripes on my other truck I still had a few of those. Poke em with a pin, push down to get the water out. It still might look a little bubbley but give it a day or so in the sun and they should go away

It's ok. The OEM offroad decals are much better looking in my opinion.
