Is This a Good Deal?

There's a local dealer that is advertising specials on all F150s. The deal is: Ford makes 3 payments and the dealer makes the 4th + 0% for 60 mos. They have over 100 F150s on the lot. Is this too good a deal to let get away from me? I will be buying a truck within the next 6 mos. Do you think the incentives might get better as it gets closer to the '07s coming out?

The payment plan is right and 0% for 60months is great, the only question is will they come down on their price?

I would check it out, even haggle a deal, but don't go with a must buy attitude and be ready to walk away.

If this one doesn't pan out, it will in the fall. They are likely to run the Employee plan or something similar again...

I just bought an 06 STX 4x4 SC at the end of May. The truck stickered for $30,640. I got it for $437.00 under invoice plus $5,000.00 in rebates. Basically I walked out the door with a new truck for $22,500.00. The rebates are different now, but I wanted to show you what is out there or what was out there in May.

Appreciate the info guys. The dealer will come off substantially on the price. Just talking over the phone the salesman gave me a ballpark figure of $26,000 for a 5.4L Screw 4x4 plus some other options. I figure a meeting face to face and a little time I can beat that. That being said I will probably wait until late summer or early fall. Just getting antsi.
