Hey everyone, i'm new to the f150 scene, jus picked up an 04 Fx4 Crew and am LOVING it.......dark charcoal grey fully loaded

i'm looking into upgrading my headlights tho and was looking for some good advice from some people that know f150's

I need brighter headlights preferably white/blue tint that are street legal

i was looking at these headlights too and was wondering if they would be ez enough to install and what bulbs i should get for them or if i keep my stock set up, what bulbs would be best

Strongly recomend the 9005 silverstars for your fogs at least. You can try the Xtravision series for the high/low beams, I have them and think they are somewhat brighter than stock but not as big of a difference as the silverstars would/will be.

 

It really depends on how much you want to spend. Theres not a lot of options.

 

Just remember that those blue coated bulbs are NOT brighter, but simply output a whiter beam with lower lumens. This makes it look whiter but doesnt make it brighter.

 

I purchased a set of lights similar to those off ebay and the projector low beam is not very bright. If you want bright lights stay stock and wait til silverstars are available. also, there are HIDs that are off the saleen F150 that are going to be available to purchase. HID's are great just retroed them into the headlights I bought off ebay with some TSX projectors. Simply bright and great!
