adding 4x4 blocks to a 4x2

Thanks for the help guys! Blocks, ubolts, and shocks are on. The pins did not have to be removed. I guess either I didn't have the frame jacked up high enough or I needed to undo the shocks. Anyway, It all worked out.

Joe, I am looking to do the same thing you did with the 4x4 blocks. First of all, thanks for all the trial and error for others like me to read about before fighting the truck. Second, do you have some pics before and after you could post? Third, where did you get your blocks? Were they take offs or did you buy them from Ford? I priced a set from my local dealership and I'm looking at $120+ for the blocks and U-bolts. Not outrageous considering the price of most lifts, but it seems high when you think about all of the people here that have removed theirs probably never to think about them again. I am getting larger tires this week and would love to get the rear of the truck a little higher. (I Already have a "leveling" kit on the front.) Anyway, thanks again for all the info!

I was just going to say that your shocks bottomed out and did not allow the axle to move away from the springs. It's the little things that make all the difference.
