FX4 Flareside pics needed....

I currently have an 05 XLT Flareside F-150 Scab and I am looking into to lifting my truck. I am after the FX4 look...and yes I am the guy that has the custom FX2 edition truck .

I am thinking of lifting the back and front about 1.5 inches each. I just want the truck to sit a little higher. I am not planning on doing any off roading, I want to do it for the look.

What is the difference height on the FX4 Flares compared to the XLT's? I love how the FX4's sit up. They look so much meaner.

Take a look at my pic below and give me some ideas my fellow f-150 brothers.

Thanks!

Here are some pics of my 4x4 xlt flareside. The pic of the rocker measurement is at the passenger side door opened.Just measure your rocker height and add the 1 and a half inches that you're adding and see how the measuements compare.

Don't believe there is any difference between the XLT 4x4 and the FX$ in ride height. If any difference it would be due to the tires. Most of the FX4s have 18" rims and tires (32" diameter) and the XLT mostly have 17" rims and tires (probably around 30" diameter). Only other difference would be the shocks, and that will not make a ride height difference.

Lifted FX4 Flareside huh? I think I can help you out haha. Here is my beauty with a 4" Rancho lift. I'll also put a pic of my truck with just an Autospring 2.5" lift. Hope this helps.

Hey, don't mean to hijack the thread... but what kind of cover is that?? I've been researching covers for Flareside models with little success in finding something I like.

Hey Jeff, I went out and messured my truck tonight. The way it sits right now with 2.5"AS up front, and 325/60/18's, it is 40 3/4" to the top of the wheel wells on all four corners. I guess that its about as close to perfectly level as one can get, its just to bad thats not what I orginaly wanted Too late now.....
