Truth be told, if I could refi my truck for a lower monthly I'd be getting a Fusion as well....I'm not ready to give up my truck, but am very impressed with the Fusion, especially a few of the modded ones the dealer here in Sacramento is putting out....CONGRATS...and let us know how you like it....

Thanks for the input guys. Yes I am selling everything on my truck. You can PM me if you like. I had 17,000 miles on the truck and after driving it a year I was able to trade and lose only $2,500. As I said before I will be getting a 08 probably. I heard that in the next couple of years every car or truck sold in the USA with have to get at least 25 MPG. Anyone else heard anything about that? I am very happy with the Fusion. It's a cool little car. Very fast and luxury. I have been driving it for about 5 days now. very impressed.

That thing bout the MPG has to be major BS, no way in hell is that gonna pass. Trucks would all have to go to a hybrid and that woudl suck and no one would wanna buy that.

I'm a pickup man for now. After the F-150 is paid off, I wouldn't mind keeping the truck and get an Altima on a corporate lease or an old inventory lease. The prototype '07 Altima that we had on the plant floor looked pretty sweet. However, after looking at the Titan lease prices for the old inventory price list that went around today, it almost had me thinking about picking up an '06, almost. But realistically, if I did get a Titan, I probably won't do so until '09 after the changes are made.

The increasing gas prices really aren't scaring me to bad.

It would basically be the end of anything fun about driving.

Maybe there is power to be made in the hydraulic motor.

I think I heard or read about that somewhere, but it's not that EVERY CAR must meet 25 MPG, but rather the AVERAGE fuel economy for any given manufacturer must be 25 MPG. Meaning for example, Ford's entire automotive lineup, including focus/fusion/f150/explorer/etc/etc/etc must have a cumulative average of at least 25 MPG. So a focus could get 40 MPG, and an f150 get 10 MPG, and the average is 25 MPG... Or something like that.
