I ordered a new audiophile 6 disc changer off of ebay for my F150 xlt. Everything on it works great except for the backlights for the buttons. Has anybody else had this problem? Is it something that can be fixed or did i get a defective unit? Any help would be great.

 

The dealership just replaced my base unit for the upgrade. The tech had to erase, then download the correct programming for the radio. It took 3 tries before the backlights came on, but he actually shouted "It works!!!"

There is a TSB on the radio issue, but basically the key is erase then download the correct programming.
