Got my leveling kit installed

Finally got my leveling kit installed yesterday and I must say the truck looks 100 times better. Sits perfectly level now and I can get the bigger tires I want. I could have had a set of 325/60r18 Nitto Terra Graplers yesterday and had them installed today, but the shop wanted $275 a tire. I asked about the Kuhmo's in the same size and he said he would have to order them, but they would end up costing me more than the Nitto's. I can get the Kuhmo's online for $177 a tire and $95 shipping.

Anyways here's a before and after shot of my truck.

I went with the autospring 2.5" kit. A bull bar is in my future and I wanted to make sure that even with the additional weight on the front the truck would still sit level. Next up though is bigger tires, hoping to get a set of Nitto Terra Graplers 325/60r18's. Would love to get new wheels and tires at the same time, but can get the tires now and save up a little more and get the rims a little later.

For those of you wondering whether to go with the 2.5" or 2" kit I just took some measurements. The front sits ~3/4" higher than the back at this point, but like I said a bull bar is in my future and as soon as that is installed the added weight will bring the front of the truck down. Even as is the difference is so small you can't tell it when it's sitting on even pavement, which my driveway isn't.

Looks good...I dont think a Bull Bar will bring it down any though.

I don't think so either.A V10 engine swap will.
However it looks nice and is one of the things on my mod list.

Thanks for the comments and it is my best mod to date, not that I have many others. Ok I only have one other, but the new tires will be soon. This site is bad for making me want to mod this truck and to get it done quickly.

Even if a bull bar doesn't bring it down any in the front you can't really tell the difference when the truck is on level pavement.

Just change the tires to some bigger ones. Honestly...only the trained eye can catch it. We of course can see it because we all know about. Mine only has the 1.5" leveling kit and I sometimes look at it like its higher in front. LOL
