Aftermarket Headlight Bulb Upgrade for 2006

Has anyone replaced the headlight bulbs with upgrades (ie. sylvania silverstars, etc.). I have a 2006 supercrew and want to upgrade mainly for the looks. I am having a difficult time finding white or blue replacement bulbs. Sylvania.com calls out an H13ST or 9008 part number yet I cannot find it to buy anywhere. Any advice or help would be appreciated!!

Do a search before posting and see what you come up with.
Im afraid this subject is a dead horse. You can get silverstars for the fogs but not for the headlights. All the other options as far as bulbs are junk. Some folks have taken it a step further with HID mods. But, alas, no silverstars for the headlights.

no Sylvanias, you can eBay some cheap ones, but you get what you pay for... $2.95 + 9.95 shipping

I got some, and like it, but they are no Sylvanias...they are a bit dim for my taste, but I like the hyperwhite look as compared to the stock yellow beams.

one of the two bulbs didn't make correct contact, so i had to "correct" it. works fine now.

Sylvania makes an "extended View" H13 bulb for these trucks. I had a bad bulb and decided to give it a try as Sylvania claims they are at least 20% brighter. Well, to me they look just like the stockers did. Still waiting for the Silverstars to come out.

Sylvania XtraVisions are the best legal bulbs out there currently. That's how I roll. I have Silverstar 9005s in the fogs, but I don't run them much since they won't last long. We don't get fog in S FL much outside of winter, so they stay off mostly.

I run the cheap Ebay bulbs and they look great. They seem a little dimmer than the factory ones, but my PIAA Platnium series fogs more than make up for the difference. The PIAAs are way brighter than Silverstars...and add in the fact I have the "fogs on with hi-beams" mod done and its a winning combo IMO!
