Thumbs up SuperLift Traction bars installed and tested!!!!

Well after about forever installing these things, I finally got em on. What a bitch of an installation, that's for sure......mainly because I didn't have a lift and none of my good tools were available to me at the house so I had to do with what I had. The final test drive was definitelly worth it though. I had such bad wheelhop lately, I couldn't nail the throttle from a stop or it would just start bouncing till I let off. Now it is unbelieveable how tight the rear end is. I nail it now and I get a nice smooth controllable wheelspin all the way out of first if I want it to, no wheelhop at all. It just feels so much tighter overall anytime you accelerate. A+ on these things! Now for the pics!

Those suckers are right at $600 so they are definitelly an expensive mod! If you got wheelhop and want to get rid of it completely.......then they are an absolute solution.

If I ever felt wheelhop with my FX4, I think I'd pass out with excitement...

Definitely not a problem for me.

However, I do like those traction bars. You didn't need to weld anything? It looks like it was all bolt-on.

No welding on these, it is all bolts. 8 holes drilled in the frame for the bracket to mount. Here are some pictures farther away so you can see how it looks from around the truck.

Is it just me or did you lose a lot of ground clearance?

Meh, the grass F's up the look a little bit. That grass is tall as crap (I need to mow it) But they are really made for a high lifted truck where that little bit won't matter.
