Of course Power Ford won't fix it, they're *******s. Want me to call one of my buddies in the fleet dept and make sure you get taken care of? It's pretty easy to do....

Exclamation Mine too!!

I am having the same problem on my 05 F-150, extended cab. Recently took a trip (got almost 20 mpg, which I thought was pretty good, but that's another story) and my wife was trying to move her seat and said it wouldn't move, so I got in the seat and yanked and yanked on the lever, but the thing will not move. I haven't gotten under there to see if the latches are releasing, but I thought it was interesting when I saw someone else with the same problem. Will let you know how it turns out.

Because of sand that's ridiculous.... I'm sure they get tons of trucks in there with crunched up cookies and chips, spilled soda and candy, gumming up the seats from children in the seats, and I'm sure that is way worse than sand.

We both agree that the dealer needs to fix that seat, but sand not as bad as cookies, soda etc? You have got to be kidding.
I want to see you removing rust with those cookies...

Sand can destroy almost anything in days. I live in the big sand box, known to non-locals as the Mojave Desert, and trust me; sand is a problem on anything that moves. Or even just sits if the wind blows it across your truck and strips the paint off one side...
Or eats your windshield in one mile of driving.
Or gets in the gears of the seat and chews the track off in days.
Or gets in a ball joint and eats the frame out of a nice 56 Chevy...

I've had these things happen to my trucks over the years.
Fortunately my 04 is a 'hanger queen' and never has to go out in the wind or drift sand.

BHf150 I'm glad Ford stepped up to the plate, even if slowly...

Hi roushlimited
I'm in the Mojave Desert, not in Mojave itself, although I was up there at the Spaceport for the launches of Spaceship 1.

I'm about 130 miles from Bakersfield. I remember Bakersfield as a smallish isolated town, but last time I was there it was flippin huge.

I was wondering about the brand of cookies you were buying, thinking I might want to avoid that brand...

Angry You know...

It really pisses me off that we all have to go through this political BS to get anything done on our vehicles!

Why does one have to go over the head of the local stealership just to get basic repair services completed???
