You are correct.... IF you refinance under 90 days, the DEALER looses some of the financing rebates. My Dad works for a Mazda dealer, and we did the same thing. Went through MAzda to get an extra 500. And they said to wait 90 days. He then leaned over and said that if we dont wait 90 days, the dealer looses 75 bucks....
Does not seem like much... But take 75 bucks times every car sold that month. Adds up to be a lot.

Go ahead and do it when you want. You have your truck, and there is nothing they can do about it...

Credit Unions in our area are the best for auto loans. We are going to be refinancing at 4.99% for 60 months. Heck, even 6 years in only 5.74%.

Thanks for the help guys. 02Supercrew4X - I was hoping you would chime in. Thanks for your comments.

RP - A co-worker and myself are going to my Ford dealer this afternoon to look at new trucks to replace his 01 Dakota. I talked to my salesman this morning to make sure he was going to be there and he said they are working on a 0% for 60 months plus a $1000.00 gas card of some sort. We are going to check it out. Plus I get $50 for bird doggin for my salesman. SWEEEET!!

PS - I am in no way trying to screw my dealer with a charge back, but.
$1000 gas card ain't bad, but the Ford dealer I purchased from is now offering 1000 gallons of gas. At $2.65 a gallon that's sounds pretty swee...ummm...good.
