? for Bill at Edge Products

Is anyone working on a fix for the transmission shudder in O/D running level 3? I've tried everything but nothing seems to work or even make it somewhat better. Adjusted shift firmness + & -, adjusted standard shift points + & -, etc. but no fix. I've called tech support several times and even gave my hex code but they said that they haven't come across this situation.

I'm just getting impatient on a fix. I've had the evolution since Feb. Lately I've been running level 2 with no problems w/93 octane and +3 timing but it's just not as fun as level 3. The truck puuls so much harder in level 3 and has alot better throttle response. Please help!!!

You'd be better off calling Edge and asking to talk to Bill directly. I haven't seen him on here in a while.

Does it feel like the engine is missing when running lvl 3? That is the problem I have. Called them multiple times, but they want me to send my unit it. I know it isnt the unit itself, its their program.

Lets be fair. It is how thier program and your truck are interacting. My truck is always in level 3 except when I'm towing (level 2) or going to the dealer. I never have experienced this problem. Some people have had this problem, a lot have not.

No it's not missing. When you are going down the road at about 55 and you go over a bridge or a bump the tranny shudders or bucks. The only thing I can think of is that the throttle response is so touchy in level 3 that the smallest input on the accel. is making it do this.

My timing is only +1 to +1.5 running 93 octane and 1.40 WOT fuel. My hex code is RXCM5E4. The problem may be linked to a specific hex code. That may be why some are having the problem and some aren't.

No, I run +3 timing when running level 2 with 93 octane. Level 2 requires 87 so you can advace the timing with higher octane. Level 3 requires at least 91 octane so I bump the timing up a little with 93.

I could be wrong but mine clunks and bucks at light throttle around 50 and I always just though it was the torque converter locking and unlocking and it is noticable because of the higer line pressure due to the edge settings. It clunks letting off then clunks/bucks applying throttle after just letting off.

Yeah, mine does that too. Wonder if softening the shift pressures will stop the clunking.
