??? for those with 20s and up.

Do you get a vibration in the steering wheel with your wheels? I had a set of stock 20s a set of 24s and now some 22s that all have had a vibration problem. The 22s I have now aren't as bad only get a small vibe between 55-60mph, but I want to get them perfect with no vibe at all. They have been road force balanced and zeroed out.

Could it be that these trucks are super sensitive to larger wheels and tires? I have heard of people using steering stabilzers to get rid of there vibration, but I have a 2wd and I dont believe they make them for my truck. You help or thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks.

I've got 22's with 305/40/22 street tires on them. No vibration at all, although, as expected, a slightly rougher ride than the factory set-up.

I had the Roush 20's on my other truck and had a small vibration at around 55-60MPH.

On my previous truck I had 24's with 315/35/24's and a 3.5/5 drop and had no vibe problems.

Maybe a wheel is bent? I bought a brand new set of 20s last year for another vehicle of mine and that sucker was bent straight from Giovanna. When they went to balance them, they noticed they were bent. I returned it for a new one and still felt a vibe at 50-60, more so with 4 people in the car. I had them "Road Force" balanced which made a difference. In the end it was my fault. The car's bolt pattern was 5x115 and the only size the wheels came in were 5x114.3 I *think* that was the whole problem. The guy said they would fit, and they did, but I paid the price of vibration, or at least I think that was the problem.

Good Luck!

(Sorry for the grammar mistakes)

I've got the vibe too...I actually noticed it varies based on which tires are in the front as I rotate them. Big wheels are hard to get balanced...

I just got new set of 305-35-24 Nexens (I got a hell of a deal on them...$800 out the door monted and balanced....then sold my worn out Kumhos for $400) and at first they had a pretty noticible vibe from 55-70, but I carried them back and they re-balanced them and it went away. They said that the belts sometime shift after they are driven (or some BS) and it then throws them out of balance. I know the vibe wasnt there for the first 50 or so miles...so maybe they are right? As for the Kumhos...I never had any vibe with them.

The reason I got the Nexens so cheap was they were bought to go on a Caprice but would not fit. Since they had been mounted (but never driven on) the dealer sold them to me for half price....well half his price. I could have gotten them a lot cheaper than his normal price online...but no where near $800. Then like I said I sold my Kumhos (with around 30,000 miles on them) for $400...so I got $400 in the new tires!

You guys with 20s and 33s, what width rim? I am picking up some vibe sometimes, and the tires did not road force worth a damn. Road forcer acted like that was normal for big **** tires.

Thanks. I wonder if the 8.5 width with 305/55/20s makes for a dificult balancing. Now that I am going more for street and speed I may have to move to some 285/50/20s

I have Nexens also but, I have some vibration issues. When I get some time I will get them balanced again. I've had alot of cars with rims on them and, every one was different, some had vibration some didn't. What about that stabilizer will that fix it? Where can I get one and how much?
