I have an '04 f-150 lariat 4x4 and need some help fixing rattles. Has anyone had their ash tray assembly rattle while driving over rough surfaces. If I push it up from underneath, it stops rattling. Is there anyone way to fix it? The other one is a squeak coming from the black tray on the dash above the radio. If I hold it down, it goes away too. Anyway to fix that? How do you take apart the center console?

 

The dealer replaced the ashtray in my truck, and that solved the problem. If you do a search for "ashtray rattle," you'll find several posts on the subject.
