Pro Comp Add A Leaf...

Has anyone run this kit? I was in the market for the Skyjacker Add A Leaf, but figured I could find something else that was either cheaper or just a better deal. I saw a post about the Pro comp so I researched. Here is a link to a kit I can buy for 97 bucks including taxes and shipping.

What you guys think about this? Please give me any insight just using this kit would save me a 100 bucks.

I ordered the Skyjacker AAL for $113 shipped from Autoanything.com. It came with everything (centering pins, U bolts, etc). I am getting it installed June 12th so I can't comment on the ride yet! What are your plans for your truck?

As I type this I have a Fabtech 6 inch suspension on my truck with a rear block of 5 inches. I also have the 2.5 Daystar kit on my truck up front. After just doing my projections if I had the 1.5 SkyJacker it would make my truck perfectly level. If I went with the Pro Comp add a leaf in the rear which is 2 inches I would sit a half inch higher in the rear. It would give me a .5 rake which i think is nice in case I haul some stuff which is rare. One kit is 126 shipped while the other is 97 including shipping, and taxes. I just want my truck sitting up higher in the back then the darn front. I know it seems like a rant but I just want to get some opinions before I go thru with the purchase.

Silver05,

Not a rant at all!! It is your truck and your money. I currently have a 2.25 rake front to back and am adding the AS 2" and a rear Skyjacker 1.5 " AAL to get a little lift and maintain some rake. I also haul my quad around and don't care for the nose up look.Good luck!

I think I'll go with the Pro Comp for 80 bucks. The 2 inches seems more appealing then the 1.5. I want a slight rake for the times I do haul something.
