I have a 2004 Lariat with the floor shifter and 30k on the odometer. The silver paint is all rubbed off by my right knee. (I just noticed this yesterday) Is this something that should be covered? I have never seen the color of interiors loose their color like this before.

It should be covered, my truck had blemishes/discolorations in the rear door panel, they replaced all of the bad ones.

 

It should be, but that depends on your dealer.
