Anyone with Rapid Hitch?
Anyone with Rapid Hitch?
I was wondering if anyone has a 6 inch lift and a rapid hitch if you have the 6 inch rapid hitch or the 10 inch rapid hitch, and also what your opinions dislikes/likes are with the rapid hitch. Thanks

I looked at them yesterday and REALLY like them. I think it would be so nice to just back up to whatever your hauling, level the trailer out, and then just slap that hitch right in. Plus it looks great IMO. The only downfall for me is that I just don't tow enough to justify the $199-$250 that they are asking. I'm going to be towing alot this weekend but just bought a standard 6 inch drop. I seem to remember seeing the rapid hitch on Thumper's new truck and it looked pretty beefy. Maybe if I end up buying the trailer or waverunners I've been wanting I'll see if I can get the dealer to throw it in.
I don't care how much they cost, I bought one because I liked the way they look. I ended up buying the 6", a 1 7/8" ball insert & the locking pins. IMO, the kit should AT LEAST come with the locking pins for the cost.
During daily driving I keep it turned up, which puts the ball a little lower than if it was mounted on the bumper. When I haul my jet ski I have to turn it down. Also, with it turned down I think it sits a little low on stock or near stock height trucks. I could see it catching something while trail riding out in the woods. A lot of people look at them & cringe because they cannot see pulling ~10,000#'s with an all aluminum setup. These things are made VERY well, and will last a lot longer than their rusty-metal counterparts.
