Remove Lift and go back to stock?

Hey guys,

I have been entertaining the idea of taking my fabtech lift off and going back to the stock suspension with a leveling kit, and then throwing on some rims/tires.

However i know that part of the subframe on the truck had to be cut to install the lift. Does anyone know if it is possible to remove the lift and go back to stock? Or do i gotta kinda keep the lift since that crosmember has been grinded off?

I love my truck lifted, but its somthing i had been thinking about. So if i knew that it was not possible it would end my internal debate.

Thanks,
nick

dude you are crazy . why would you want to do that?? your truck looks awsome! but I think it would be very hard becauuse the crossmember bracket was cut off.

I dont even understand why you would be debating taking the lift off in the first place...

You can if you keep the piece of the crossmember that was cut off, If you didn't it would cost alot to get a new one manufatured or you might be able to get one from somebody. I kept all my stock stuff when I did my lift just incase I had to go back to stock to ship my truck to the mainland when I leave the island if I ever do. So Do Not Go Back To Stock Unless You Can Replace The Piece And Have It Welded Back Good.
