hey guys, im on a very tight budget like i bet everyone else is but my question is what is the cheapest 6" on the market that wont get me killed and leaving my truck in pieces after a few miles? i need all or any options. thanks alot

 

Procomp, But I would spend alittle more for the fabtech basic kit like i have. It cost me $3,650 for lift, rims and tires from 4 wheel parts.

 

My Pro Comp 6" lift, 17" Moto Metal rims and 35" BFG AT was 4,000 at 4Wheel Parts.

 

Man...given your reasons...are you sure you want to go cheap? 6" Lift and Cheap dont go together. LOL.

If youre good on installing...get a good kit and save the labor and do it at home or something...whats a tight budget to you?

 

a 6" suspension lift isnt something you want to go the cheap route on. go with fabtech or another well known brand.

 

The cheapest 6" kit is easily the Procomp kit.

i feel you on this one. i was about to post this thread but i knew there would be the price vs. quality issue so i decided not to bother, but glad you did . I have done my own research and I found that procomp is the cheapest. As a matter of fact 4wp has a sale for 6" procomp $1200 and some change. That sale ends May 31 fyi. Good luck let me know if you find something cheaper.

 

I'd suggest going with the standard (with spacers) Pro Comp kit. Then when you save some more money, you can upgrade to their optional coilovers to replace the spacers.

 

Procomp is the cheapest in price I would say the quality is damn good. I have had mine on for 2 years and have ZERO complaints. I would suggest painting it your choice of colors prior to putting it on or having it powder coated makes it look a little more unique.

 

do you think you could clear 37's? any tips on installation?
