Stereo feedback from cell phone?
My 05 gets a buzzing noise sometimes if my cell phone is in the cupholder or clipped to the A/C vent. It's electronic feedback but I'm surprised. I've never had this problem before. Anybody else?
Yup. Here's the really fun part. Some newer cell phones, that operate off a GSM (I think that's what they call) network can actually interfere with some of the electronics in today's cars.
I had a Mountaineer that'd intermittently set transmission fault codes because the owner left her cell phone in the center console...which runs right above several wiring harness, the TSS and OSS sensors. Everytime the phone would ring, the sensors would go haywire.

My Cingular phone interferes with my office radio, the radio in my wife's car, and most annoyingly the clock radio beside my bed. So far it has not had an effect on my truck.

I've had phone from several carriers that created a electronic tapping sound, kind of like moris code on electronics. Sprint, T-Mobil, my current Cingular and a work phone that was a Verizon. The most disturbing thing I've seen was a buddy had an older Nextel Motorola that could put static onto a shielded coax cable television signal from 20 feet. Talk about a microwave next to your head (of course, his phone put out 2.2 watts!!! FCC later changed reg's on what phones could do, lol!)

I really haven't noticed much of a problem in my '05 with my Cingular phone, a Motorola V551, but I have noticed it with my Nextel phone, a Motorola i305. I do notice both phones with my alarm clock when on, as well as most other household audio systems. I normally turn my phones off when I am doing audio and/or video recordings at church since I can sometimes hear phones in that equipment too.
I place my Cingular phone on my dresser after I get home from work. The living room is on the other side of the wall, and the entertainment center is right behind the dresser, so to say. Periodically the signal causes noise in the speaker system, particularly the ones on that wall.
I wear headphones with speakers in them at work and my radio on my hip with the phone in my pocket and I can hear the phone ring (static) in my headphones.
No probs in the truck, phone stays in the pants pocket.

I would ask if it is all the time, or only when it rings and does location updates ?
If it is all the time, then something is wrong, if it is only on location updates, and prior to ringing / getting a SMS / VM indicator, etc, that is normal.
CDMA phones I have noticed don't do this ( for the most part ) , must be from using spread spectrum vs GSM.
As for not so good with having it in your pocket, that is what I am after, make those guys bad swimmers, I say
