a question for josiah or anyone else

i had flowmaster on my other truck (check out the pics) and you couldn't hear it over the engine noise. now i plan on putting and IMCO extreme series on my new truck but i want it to be loud and i saw your exhaust video and read about how you had the rear cats removed and i was wondering how much did it cost you to have it done?where did you have it done? and did you have to use any o2 simulator or anything like that? thanks

This may be a dumb question, but you checked to make sure you only have two cats, right?

I just got true duals today and I love it! Maybe, one day I'll add a X-Pipe and get some high flow cats.

If you do have 4 than yeah theres no problem with doing so. But, just check and make sure you have 4.

Yes it matters, you want to remove the back two. The reason he was asking if you have 4, is that only 2004 and perhaps early build 2005's were equipped with 4 cats. The rest of the 2005's and 06's have 2 larger cats only. Should cost you around $50. If and when I do it, I will probably just cut them off myself and then drive it to a muffler shop and have them weld in a foot long piece of piping.
