2" or 2.5" levelling kit up front on an 4X2?

hey all,
2006 4x2 screw longbed, what kit to level the front off? I've seen both and i DO NOT want the front higher than the rear.
Thoughts?

In a 4x2 I would go with the 2". I put the 2.5" on my 05 4x4 screw and at times it looked higher in the front even though it measured level.

I'd go with the 2" kit.

Larger than what? 2"
It's sitting on Toyo Open Country A/T's 285's, anything larger and this 2wd would be considered a poser.

I only put the 2" AS on my 06 FX4 and it definately made the front look higher, even. Then had to get 1.5" add a leafs for the back. There also is a 1 5/8" AS you may want to consider, sounds like they may sit slightly different depending on each truck.

Go look at your truck and measure your gap in your fender. I know that springs settle and the spacer may not give you EXACTLY 2", but you can get a general idea.

Really and truly, I deliberated for weeks before going with the 2.5. I am very happy that I did. However, the 2" would look really good as well.

If you're nervous about the 2.5, get the 2" and you won't have to worry.

You will be really happy with the spacer, I sure am.

Honestly dude looking at the truck I thought they were smaller. IMO tires that aren't that aggresive looking come off as smaller looking to me. When I had my 285 BFG ATs they looked mean. I think if i would do it all over I would go with 305(33s) with the spacer and add a leaf.

Another thing is your truck came off different to me because you have the short bed. I hardly ever see them in my part of Texas.

The 2" AS is a 1 5/8" spacer.

I was thinking this as well. If I got the 2" someone said that if I were to tow something heavy I would lose a lot of traction on my front tires, is that true?

I read alot of threads, so I'd better be happy with the 2.5" AS I have sitting on my desk. That is all.
