06FX4: According to the Plattsburgh Spring site, the '06 trucks take the same front receiver. But you can always call Dana up there and ask her for sure . . . for it to not fit, the frame and/or frame holes would have to change. I doubt the frame will change any time soon!
5.4-FX4: I was just looking when I found my gray FX4 on the lot - bought it within a week. I agree that they look GOOD in that color - just the right balance of toughness and style. I've had a lot of compliments on it. There are quite a few like it around here, though, unfortunately.

I can happily say I'm another owner of a Dark Shadow Grey truck -- mine in super crew cab. Like you, Lee F., I've had a ton of compliments on it. Although I love these trucks in black, I'm glad I ended up with this color. Not only is it a perfect balance of toughness & style, it's also the perfect balance of dark but doesn't show every little spec of dirt
