Draw-Tite, Hidden Hitch, and Reese are all owned by the same manufacturer, but I like dealing with the folks at Plattsburgh Spring (www.drawtite.com)

Man Lee, i sure do like the way those Dark Shadow Grey trucks look...good choice.

don't know about that 06...i bought a brush guard for my '05 awhile back, and they told me the 04-05 guards wouldn't fit the 06...said that the 06's were a little different. something about the bumper, and where it mounted was different.

06FX4: According to the Plattsburgh Spring site, the '06 trucks take the same front receiver. But you can always call Dana up there and ask her for sure . . . for it to not fit, the frame and/or frame holes would have to change. I doubt the frame will change any time soon!

5.4-FX4: I was just looking when I found my gray FX4 on the lot - bought it within a week. I agree that they look GOOD in that color - just the right balance of toughness and style. I've had a lot of compliments on it. There are quite a few like it around here, though, unfortunately.

I can happily say I'm another owner of a Dark Shadow Grey truck -- mine in super crew cab. Like you, Lee F., I've had a ton of compliments on it. Although I love these trucks in black, I'm glad I ended up with this color. Not only is it a perfect balance of toughness & style, it's also the perfect balance of dark but doesn't show every little spec of dirt
