New (to me) Truck!

I went to the auction yesterday and got that itchy feeling so I bought a 04 F-150 XLT, 5.4 Auto. It seems in nice condition and everything however there are a few things odd about it.

The tranny seems to have too much fluid in it and the ABS light is on. I read something about these trannys are sealed and have "lifetime fluid" so whats the deal there?

The ABS light I will check the fluid, brakes and sensors, should be an easy fix.

You better hope it doesn't have any of the 04' plauging vibration issues. I'd be kinda hessitant about getting an 04' at an auction for that very reason. Good luck with it though! Post pics!

Greeeaat, 04's have vibration issues? I read up a little bit, standard fix seems to be a pcm flash and motor mounts?

As for the tranny being too full I'm going to whip it in our shop and check all the fluids, oil change, etc.

I'm going through it top to bottom before I start driving it or deciding if I'm keeping it.
