Trading in 04

Hey guys I was wondering how many of you have or are thinking about trading in your 04. I seethat kkb is about 18000 on a trade for a xlt scab 4x4. Is anyone actually getting that from their dealer. Im not sure if I make the move now....or wait a year for the 07 I still got a year and 13000 miles untill I am outta warranty.

In December I traded my 04 SuperCab XLT 4X4 for an 05 SuperCrew XLT 4X4 and the dealer gave me KBB price for my trade and sold the 05 for X-Plan price at "0" percent interest. I would not have traded to just get a new truck but only because I wanted to move up to the SuperCrew for rear seat comfort for my family. The SuperCrew backseat comfort and ride are much better.

I did something similar except I traded my '05 scab 2wd for an '06 screw 4x4. Alot of it was for rear seat comfort and I wanted a 4wd. Unless you want something that specifically comes on the '07's I say buy an '06 cuz you'll be able to get a way better deal right now. Good luck

Yes the 06 is a better idea as far as the rbates go but I am guessing the pickins are slim so I will have to order to get what I want which in turn is limiting me to an 07 which is ok cause I still got some time left on the warranty. But thanks for letting me know you got kbb then still got the truck at wholesale...good to know thanks

The 3 dealers closest to me show 209, 164, and 169 F150s on there lots. I wouldn't call that 'slim pickins'.
