That camaro is beautiful, but I somehow don't seem them putting out a production car that looks that good.

I doubt they will go for a new body in 08 already. They will probably just update the model, not a complete redisign. The last F150 model went almost 8 years. The Ranger has been the same for like what, 14 years? And the Silverado has been the same for the last 8 years. I doubt they would dish out for a total remodel after only 4.

I hope so. But it's not debated there will be a new transmission and engine very soon. That alone will be hard to swallow.

I have to agree. I was looking at it and was like OK this is the same prototype from two years ago. Just like the poster I have of it on the wall at the house next to my 03 Lightning poster.
Oh boy here we go again. If there is going to be "major changes" I would not get all moist until some shots of the new body style comes out.
As sweet as it "would" have been those pics as of now are of would could have happend not pics of what is going to happen.
Mmmmm Flareside and no cargo tie downs. I love that. Still was a sweet concept truck when it came out and really look forward to the next generation(hopefully).

Those seats look different, shapewise. The upper portion of the seat seams to concave around your body, much more support on the sides. I'm pretty sure my truck has a different set of seats, much less comfortable. The dash also looks painted a glossy silver.

I knew you could........

Another thing I noticed about it was it had been driven...not just for photo shoots either. The brake rotors had significant signs of use and the the calipers were not "show car" new and clean.

HMM You should have told them you wanted to take it for a test drive.

Since it seems to early for a re-design of the f150... and I don't see how they are going to make it too much lighter without sacrifiing it's truck abilities, maybe the engineer was referring to the launch of a true half ton truck (F100) like someone mentioned they had heard. That would be a perfect platform for the lightning. And They could be planning it to come out around the same time as the engine and tranny changes that are in the works. Sounds pretty cool to me. Im guessing a true 1/2 ton would be about the sixe of a dodge dakota, I think it would make a cool little truck while still packing V8 power. We will see

Well I just spent 15 minutes trying to get the puke off of my keyboard. Someone really should put a warning when you post pictures of ugly concept GM's in a post.

i hope they dont change the body in '08... i thought i remember hearing a while back that a new body style wouldnt come out till 2010 but who knows. they did keep the previous models for 7 years also...

as far as the svt, cool truck and its a shame it was shelved... but im kinda glad because they would make my truck look lame
