Looking for wheel well box for my 05 Scab

Does anyone have a wheel well style tool box on a 6.5" bed? I'm looking for a place to store some gear under my tonneau cover without sliding around and without taking up my whole bed. It looks like these would be the best choice, but I don't know which one would fit or how it looks. If anyone has some pics or suggestions it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Next week, I am actually getting together with a local manufacturing shop. We have been talking about designing a storage system for the bed of our trucks. Our goal is to create various adjustable "pockets" throughout the bed of the truck that the owner can move/change to suit his needs. I will post what I find out.

You know what would be nice...(sorry to hi-jack the thread).

A raised floor for the truck. The bed is so tall anyways, whats a couple inches raising from the bottom and creating pockets so the whole bed can still be utilized? Plastic of course to eliminate some weight and to be sturdy.

RE: Pockets

thais0n,

That sounds like a great idea. There's a ton of room in these beds that could be utilized, but just seems wasted (unless you're hauling dirt or mulch etc). I'll be looking forward to your findings. And if you need a guinea pig, i'm also in NoVA and would be happy to help test out any solutions.

I will definitely keep you guys posted. The engineer at this company said he has some good ideas, they just need to get my truck in the shop to take some measurements, and see what works.

Not quite a wheel-well toolbox, but it should fit under a tonneau cover.
