P.I.E. Installed! However...
...it didn't go totally as smooth as pie.
Tested it out. Everything worked great. Re-mounted the radio, plugged all pin connectors back in to everything, and put the dash back on. Then I turn it on again and voila no sound out of the right speaker.
So I take everything off again and when I jiggle around some wires, the sound goes in and out of the speaker. Nothing I can really do at that point but position it back in there while the sound is working. Hopefully it won't become an issue. It looks like those wires stay pretty much in the same spot unless physically moved.
Anyone else experience that?
Also, I don't think they did before, and they certainly aren't now, but does anyone's cigarette lighter or 12V socket light up when the lights are on? Naturally I can't remember. But I didn't touch the 12V plug at all so I shouldn't have screwed anything up.
Also, for those of you who remember there were conflicting reports of what is the "switched hot" inside the dash. (Dark Green/Orange, Light Green/Yellow, Light Green/White). On mine, it was definitely Light Green/Yellow, in pin position #2.
Oh and I dropped two zip ties inside the dash and couldn't retrieve them.

My install did not go smoothly either. Two weeks ago I attempted to install the PIE with a Skyfi2. After the install, the radio started going haywire. It sounded like the CD changer kept loading and loading. I don't think I had it properly grounded and connected to the 12 volt. So I removed the PIE. Now I see everyone recommending different methods for connecting the wires and grounding. We need a multimeter? Tapping into a ground wire? Male spade terminal end? WTF. I'm totally lost.

My CD changer sounded like that too, except it was when I kept reconnecting the battery after disconnect. Everything seems ok now. Just that speaker wire is going to bug me if it goes.
You think thats weird? Every time I disarm the alarm/remote start and get in the truck, the radio seems to be cycling through all the CD's. I have the Audiophile, and the PIE itself works great. My only complaint is that...
