WOW - you guys are getting some istty mileage.....What's up? You drving F1 style or what?

Even when I get on it hard my mileage rarely goes lower than 14.3ish....When I'm towing it gets 12-13ish

Wonder why so low

The larger tires really pull these motors down and cause a decrease in mileage. And lifting 6 inches puts it up higher in the wind resistence on the highway.

But the biggest factor is the right foot.

Actually my gas mileage has gone up I was getting low 11's stock. No matter how I drove-Driving like grandma or racing to the stop light. I think my takeouffs were a little more jumpy stock. My buddy always complained. I am much smoother with the bigger tires, maybe that was it.

When I do get into it now though, its much more responsive. Saving $$ to put the Volant exhaust on. See what happens then

Getting 18.5-19.0

On my 2005 Scab XLT 4x4. 70% highway driving helps, I guess. Plus I have a tonneau cover.
