Will 35's do any damage to your tranny?

Want to upgrade to 35's on my 06 with 5.4 and 3.73 LS, aside from regearing someday am I going to smoke my tranny? I also have the tow package (tranny cooler, oil cooler etc.) I have a xcal2 coming, would changing shift points help my cause. Thanks.

If you plan to tow anything keep close to stock. But if you run empty most of the time, no problem.

I disagree. I used to tow my 29' Baja all the time with my 87 sitting on 40's with 4.56 gears. That ole baby C6 tranny worked just fine.

The edge will really help your tranny out if you are concerned. It produces harder shifts which is easier on the tranny and makes ther truck faster.
