Installed af1 intake

Installed my af1 intake last night on my 2004 fx4 reg cab. Installation was pretty easy except that the air meter wouldnt fit in the tube lucky enough where i was installin it was my buddies port shop so he ported it out and now its fine. Performance, I really need a gatorback now the belt really sqeuals. Seat of the pants dyno says it was a excellent upgrade. Sound is awsome to me. I now have Af1 intake, magnaflow si/so, and troyer tunes this truck really hauls *** now cant wait to get some friendly drags races in.

Up next e-fans

You'll like the e-fans but make sure you are EXTREMELY gentle if you purchase the e-fans from troyer. Those adjustment pots to set the turnon temperature fail on many people and they're replaced at your cost if you don't complain soon, and even then I believe they will only replace one. I'm not sure what the break strength is on other controllers out there but Troyer's are very sensitive, maybe it's all controllers, I have two broken and I was denied replacement for either as they're overdue. I broke both of mine very easily, and I mean very easily early on, a couple users on fordtruckworld have done the same and several times. The e-fans provide nice topend gains so I'm not trying to shy away from that, you won't be disappointed.

I just last week installed the Flex a Lite e-fan #270 (for the F150), perfect bolt in and everthing was reasonably simple to wire...nice set up to recommend. In combo with U/D pulleys I picked up and honest 3 MPG in a controlled mileage test test on cruise @56-62 MPH
