3v manifold modded webpage.

http://home.att.net/~bill.fisher/index2.htm

this is a rough draft. the philosophy is to remove all restrictions. i will be trying different configs over the next few months. such as partitions between opposite banks. a thin wall to seperate them without restricting etc. you will notice a huge increase in volume. it all helps top end. your vct should minimize the low end losses. -bill

FYI nobody can see the images on that website.
It is sourcing images on YOUR computers hard drive and it needs to be changed to source the images on a web host.

i have started version number 2.

http://home.att.net/~bill.fisher/index2.htm

the page describes the changes.

stock plenum, with full length tapered runners that hold a lot of volume.

i will take one tomorrow.

if you pull the intake, they are covering the ports.

4.6 3v guys have plates the can purchase called cmcc delete plates. we don't need them. free 7hp. check it out at

http://www.modularfords.com

in the 2005+ mustang section. i'm here to tell you i could feel the change especially above 4000 when i pulled them.

those of you that have topped out bolt on HP can add a little more.

ok so will we need tuning for it to work properly? is there a way to keep the engine light from coming on or just leave it plugged in and just remove the rods. and the intake will just bolt right back on right?

sorry for the delay answering.

yes just remove the plates and square rods, silicone it and then reconnect the motor to the computer. it will not know the difference.

the tune is a simple mixture adjustment using the controller of your choice and a dyno. or datalog it and adjust.
