for anyone that did their own add a leaf, could you please post a pic of the spring pack after the add a leaf was installed.

I need to know how to do this to mine, Im confused as to what to do with the clips that hold the pack together on each end of the springs. thanks guys:o

Um...I had to remove the clips and then re-bend them over all the spring leafs after i inserted the new one. So i'm not sure what the above poster is talking about. And i have the skyjacker leaf.

If i remember right i just bent them away (since they won't come off) then i just put the other leaf in the middle and then buttoned it all up and then rebent the clips over-top.

If you need a picture, then PM me and i'll go get one.

Yes thats the clips I was talking about. The instructios told me to take them off so I did. Hope it all stays together now, oh well if it doesnt work out I will just get a whole set of skyjacker lift springs:o

I have a skyjacker AAL... but it is only the 1.5 in and I didnt have to mess with the clips. I don't really see it being a problem though... Just wait to take them off untill you unload the leaf springs with C clamps. It could be a little tricky getting it all back together...but with someone helping it should be pretty easy. Just put the new centerpins through all the leaves when you are recompressing them so they stay aligned.
