OK. My buddy and I installed these on a 2wd truck yesterday. These are made for the 4wd but we made them work with some minor cutting. These were super easy to install once we got the kinks worked out. It took us about 2 hours to get the first side on. Because, we had to uncrank the 4x4 coilover so that we can get the truck sitting at a nice stance and to not max out the uni-ball. We cranked the coils down about and inch and a half on the shock body. We also found the part of the "shock tower" was hitting the arm when it sagged all the way down, so we had to cut a piece off...

After we actually got the piece cut off and the coils cranked down everything else was a breeeeeeze! After we got it down the other side only took about 30 minutes to install. And WOW the ride is awesome and my suspension travel is now almost at 12 inches. All in all the truck feels more solid while cornering and while going offroad due mainly to uncranking the 4x4 coilovers all the way down. These are expensive, but not having to replace the factory balljoints ever again and not worrying about it breaking off road its well worth the price. Plus not to mention they look BADASS!

Looks good. Any other cutting, drilling or modification needed for this? I thought about getting these a few months ago, but I'm a little concerned about cutting and such to get them to fit.
Well your truck is a 4x4 so I doubt there is any cutting needed. They are designed for the 4x4 so I dont think youll have to cut anything. Even if you do have to cut its not bad at all. Its just that little piece I took a picture of. Besides that we had to do nothing more to make them fit. They are awesome!

Well, the factory balljoints arent really made to be pushed to such extreme angles when you lift your truck. They also arent really made to handle 35 inch tires. These are stronger than stock balljoints and they can handle any size tire I wanna put on my truck. Plus on my old truck I had my factory balljoint break in the desert and I was stranded in the middle of nowhere for 8 hours waiting for a towtruck to come pick me up, so I wanted to rid my truck of these stock balljoints ASAP.
