Dyno Video Finally!!

Well the video isn't much, compared to some guys dyno vids of supercharged trucks, but figured you all might want to see it anyways. Thanks to the guys who helped me figure out how to put a video on my computer from my camcorder, it was really easy. The video was taken with the truck and mods shown in the signature, and produced the numbers in the signature also. So let me know what you think, or if you have any suggestions. Thanks guys.

What was your best 0-60 and 1/4th in? Also, did you tune the edge to it's max and what octane rating were you using. Thanks.

My best 0-60 time has been 6.88 after the exhaust, and quarter mile I think is 15.4. I dynoed it on level two, level three, and stock. I upped the timing by 1 point, and thats it, using 93 octane because of level three. Not much "tuning to the max" that you can do with the edge that would help with the dyno.

great video and good pic of the evolution. I'm really thinking about getting one. Very impressive numbers now it's time to go spank some Chevys.

I have done that a few times already, as well as a bully dogged f350 powerstroke auto, and a hemi 2 wheel drive with 4.10's. athough I did not spank the Hemi, I was a tad faster, not much. And the powerstroke would have caught me possibly by about 100 mph, if he wasnt too hot by then. Glad you like it.

Nice videos cobraman! Did you do just a third gear pull? How did you lock it in gear? I was thinking about lowering the 2-3 shift point with the edge to get a full 3rd gear pull.

I think those numbers are very good and comparable to the other xcal2 numbers that have been reported. did you post a dyno chart somewhere?

Yeah they were all done in 3rd gear, except for the stock run which kept hitting the speed limiter in 3rd, so I dont that one in second gear. I havent gotten a dyno graph up yet. Modular Depot in Cincinnat done the dyno. AS far as how it locked in third, im not sure, it just didnt downshift when you lay into in slowly. Be preparred, the wheel speed gets to about 130-140 mph if you do it in 3rd gear. If you read the edge manual, it says that you should do the dyno runs in 2nd gear because of the torque management system I think. Not sure if that would effect the dyno runs.
